Maria Alejandra Parra is a jewelry artisan from Venezuela who discovered her passion for metalsmithing while studying fashion design. After graduating in 2010, she began formally studying jewelry making and working alongside other jewelers as she developed her own style.

By 2012, she launched her own brand, Alejandra Parra Joyas.

Her designs are inspired by everything around her — from nature and architecture to the simple moments of daily life — resulting in timeless pieces made to be mixed, layered, and worn in many ways.

Each piece begins as a sketch, where an idea starts to take shape. From there, Maria carefully forms the metal by hand, solders each component together, refines every detail, and polishes the final piece.

Her work is slow, intentional, and deeply personal — a reflection of her belief that true beauty lives in the details.
